BOB Human Muscle and Skeletal Simulation Modeling Software - Biomechanical Analysis of Movement

Click here to watch the BOB human biomechanics analysis explanation video

BOB is humanbiomechanics analysis software, the full English name is Biomechanics of Bodies. The BOB software is divided into two versions: RESEARCH and TEACHING. BoB is a leading human musculoskeletal modeling software package, designed to be user-friendly and rigorously analytical, making BoB an ideal choice for teaching and research. BoB is widely used in academia and industry, with applications including product design, sports performance analysis, equipment design and development, human-computer interaction, vehicle design testing, robot/exoskeleton design, ergonomics, and more.

Development Background

BoBis developed in MATLAB, inheriting many features of MATLAB, including efficient solving algorithms, plotting operations, and large data processing.

Data Reading

BoBAll stored data files can be accessed directly through MATLAB. The BoB package includes BoB in P code, allowing BoB to run in the MATLAB environment, access MATLAB graphics processing, and integrate user-customized M code into BoB.

Authoritative Recognition

BoBHas been recognized by the MathWorks Connections program.

BOBFeatures

1.Easy Data Import

C3D files - set markers based on the Helen Hayes model;

CALC files - exported from Perception Neuron;

HPF files - exported from the Delsys system for analyzing EMG signals;

MVNX files - from Xsens;

BVH files - Biovision, Motion Builder, and Rokoko variants;

CSV files - regarding Euler joint angles

Text files;
