Product introduction:

Performance demonstration

The CoCo-80 demonstrates advanced measurement performance and metrics. It excels in both dynamic and static measurements. When used for dynamic measurements, the input channels provide a very high-quality dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio, cross-channel gain matching, companion matching, and spectral flatness across the analysis frequency range. When measuring static or quasi-static signals, it offers very high accuracy at DC or near-DC frequencies.

The best of both worlds

Currently, signal analyzers are divided into two categories. One type has high fidelity, is expensive, and is large, meeting all your computational needs as a laboratory standard-sized instrument; the other type offers limited analysis capabilities but is a small, rugged portable device with lower performance. Why sacrifice performance for portability? Now you can have high-fidelity, laboratory-quality data analysis capabilities while achieving the portability and rugged structure of the CoCo-80.

Rugged, compact, and portable structure

In addition to excellent measurement performance metrics, the CoCo-80 is also a rugged, compact portable measuring instrument, making it an ideal tool for field testing. The CoCo-80 weighs less than 1.7 kg. The sturdy casing features a support frame, strap, and folding arm. You can place it on a table, secure it in a car seat, or hold it by hand in the field. The advanced heat dissipation design eliminates the need for a cooling fan, extending battery life and reducing operational noise. With a fully charged battery, it can run for up to 6 hours, and it can also be powered by an AC adapter or a car power adapter while simultaneously charging the battery. The CoCo-80 is very robust, especially suitable for outdoor use.

Advanced interfaces

The system is equipped with very comprehensive and flexible hardware interfaces, including two USB ports; one USB for uploading and downloading data to a personal computer; the other USB for connecting other USB devices to the CoCo-80, such as a mouse, storage card, barcode scanner, etc. A 100 BaseT Ethernet interface can connect to the Internet for communication, enabling remote operation. The SD card interface allows you to save data to an SD card or connect to the Ethernet using a wireless card with an SD interface. The built-in microphone allows you to record audio as data annotations. Speakers and headphones provide audio feedback for operations. The 5.7-inch color LCD display shows the recorded data information. A few simple buttons on the keyboard allow for quick capture of measurement values at specific points.

You can connect the CoCo-80 to a personal computer in multiple ways and download files or upgrade software. The simplest method is via USB connection, 100Base Ethernet cable, or wireless SD card. The powerful combination of peripheral interfaces allows you to use the CoCo-80 in any situation you can imagine.

Reliable

The CoCo-80 is a simple and reliable signal measurement tool. It combines large-capacity memory for data storage with real-time display and data processing capabilities. The easy-to-use and powerful Windows analysis software makes the CoCo-80 the most reliable tool for field measurements.

In comparison, instruments bundled with PCs perform unreliably in the field and are too complex for quick operation and reliable data acquisition. Communication issues, additional communication and power cables complicate setup. They are also limited by battery power and cannot operate for long periods. With the CoCo-80, you can obtain the data you need without fiddling with a bunch of extra equipment.

Integrated acquisition and analysis functions

The CoCo-80 is not just a data recorder, although it can record data from all channels at a sampling rate of 102.4kHz. At the same time, real-time DSP technology provides advanced real-time processing. When recording data to flash memory, you can simultaneously compute FFT, FRF, Tri-Spectra, APSD, and all the window, averaging, and triggering functions you can use in a signal analyzer. During operation, you can see the processed data on the screen or save the spectral signal to ensure you have recorded all the events you need. This combination of data recording and real-time processing makes the CoCo-80 a versatile and powerful tool.

Multilingual support

The user interface and file support three languages: English, Japanese, and Chinese.

Multifunctional

The multifunctional features of the CoCo-80 can meet your analysis needs, including general signal analysis, FFT analysis, time recording, FRF data acquisition, alarm/abort monitoring, machine condition monitoring, and many other applications. The CoCo-80 is an ideal tool for many industries, including automotive, aerospace, electronics, and military. It is the ideal tool when you need simple, fast, and accurate data processing and real-time applications in the field, with configurable signal analysis CSA technology providing unlimited flexibility for real-time analysis.

The CoCo-80 is the first battery-powered data acquisition system. This system combines high-end system functionality. The CoCo-80 is equipped with 4 or 8 input channels and can accurately measure and record dynamic and static signals. The large-capacity flash memory can simultaneously record time-stream signals from 8 channel inputs at sampling rates of up to 102.4KHz per channel. A built-in signal source channel provides various signal output waveforms, synchronized with the input sampling rate.

Revolutionary 24-bit A/D converter digital technology and the company's unique hardware design provide over 130dB dynamic range, which is 10 times higher than competing products. This allows you to capture signals as high as 10 volts and as low as a few microvolts in the same experiment without changing the range settings. The high dynamic range and fidelity of the CoCo-80 make it possible to measure a wide range of signals without considering the amplitude of the input signal.

Easy to use

The design of CoCo-80 is simple and easy to use. You can start measuring in seconds without a long preparation time. The IEPE support eliminates the need for sensor signal conditioning, allowing it to start measuring in seconds without external range control. The internal CSA settings allow you to switch between the required measurement modes, and the 5.7" LCD display lets you monitor any form of data. The keyboard operation area allows you to easily switch settings and displays, run or stop measurements, and record data. When you finish recording and are ready to end your work, you can download the data to your personal computer via USB, Ethernet, or wireless connection.

After downloading the data to your personal computer, you can choose from various common data file formats to output the data for analysis using your preferred third-party analysis software.

The CoCo-80 software stores and organizes data according to the ASAM-ODS standard. This data standard provides ultimate flexibility and version compatibility. The ASAM-ODS data standard is widely supported in the automotive industry and is now expanding to other fields such as aerospace. Data can also be exchanged with other data formats, such as UFF, BUFF, TDM, MATLAB, and user-defined ASCII formats.

PC software

The Engineering Data Management software, EDM, serves as the interface between CoCo-80 and other data analysis applications. It is easy to use, with Windows system software managing communication between the personal computer and CoCo-80, downloading data to the personal computer, displaying data in any required format, and outputting data in standard file formats, including ASAM-ODS, UFF, BUFF, TDM, MATLAB, and user-defined ASCII files. Based on file attributes or data thumbnails, EDM allows you to browse data and quickly find the records you are looking for. Time traces can be replayed, and cursor and zoom functions allow you to measure signal characteristics.

Distributed measurement and remote monitoring

The Ethernet interface combined with remote EDM software allows multiple CoCo-80 units to be used for distributed measurement. Imagine monitoring the status of machines located in different buildings from your office or on the other side of the world; multiple CoCo-80 units can be connected to the same local area network and managed through a function of the EDM software. Low cost, flexibility, and high performance make CoCo-80 an ideal tool for remote distributed measurement.

CoCo-80 integrates high-precision, laboratory-quality data analyzers in a portable and rugged package to meet your demanding data analysis needs. Don't sacrifice performance for flexibility; CoCo-80 allows you to have both.
