The Tactilus pressure distribution system can display pressure data in real-time for the contact area of sealed doors or gaskets, and allows observation of the distribution through software, facilitating the detection of surface defects, wear, gaps, and other features of the car door, thereby verifying the integrity and uniformity of the door seal. If these issues are not identified during testing, they can have a significant impact on aerodynamics, waterproofing, sound insulation safety, air quality, and production line settings.
The analysis software can dynamically display the measured data and provide local magnification for key areas, while also showing data analysis results such as average, maximum, and minimum pressure values. The data collected by Tactilus can be exported as .text files for further post-processing by third-party software. The Tactilus system includes: sensor elements, data exchange units, USB connection cables, and software.
Contact force,Surface tension,Sealing door contact force,Dynamic pressure measurement,Pressure sensor,Pressure-sensitive strip,SPI stands for Serial Peripheral Interface, which is a synchronous serial communication interface used for short-distance communication, primarily in embedded systems. It allows multiple slave devices to communicate with a single master device, using a set of four wires: one for the clock signal (SCK), one for the master output/slave input (MOSI), one for the master input/slave output (MISO), and one for the chip select (CS) signal. SPI is known for its high speed and simplicity, making it a popular choice for connecting microcontrollers to various peripherals such as sensors, memory devices, and displays.
