With the continuous construction and operation of high-voltage direct current projects, the noise from converter stations is increasingly impacting the surrounding environment. To promote the development of certain coal power bases and meet the growing demand for electricity in the region, the planning and construction of ultra-high voltage direct current transmission projects is an important form. When the noise from the converter station exceeds the standard at the boundary outside the wall without noise reduction measures, noise reduction measures must be taken to ensure that the boundary outside the wall meets the standards.
When handling such projects, according to the spectrum input collected by the DC Construction Department of the State Grid Corporation, the sound power level of the equipment is determined based on engineering experience and equipment data, and simulated calculations are performed usingSoundPlannoise calculation software. In this process, monitoring points need to be established outside the converter station's wall, and an understanding and analysis of the characteristic properties of the noise sources, including the converter transformer, interconnecting transformer, high-voltage parallel reactor, smoothing reactor, AC/DC filter group, and station transformer, must be conducted to establish corresponding noise simulation models and calculations. For noise control, measures should be taken to reduce the noise from the source (source control), control the propagation path (path control), and implement protective measures, comparing with standard limits and requirements to design and construct noise control measures, thereby achieving the goal of reducing factory boundary noise and the final project objectives.
